Since AAAL currently airs at 10 o clock Monday morning here in Australia I will no longer be watching AAAL with any regularity. It is not the sort of thing you can watch at work.

Well, if it makes you feel better, you're not the only one...
I'm going to be without constant internet connection until july, so I just don't have a possibility to watch the show. Although, I still should be able to attend once a month or so.
Alex mentioned two broadcast this week. The usual show (Sunday 3pm Pacific/6pm Eastern) and another on anniversary Date and Time of the Chernobyl Nuclear Accident. The bonus I think is April 26, 1986, at 1:23:58 a.m. local time...so to make it easy here's local time in Switzerland: http://www.worldtimezone.com/time/wtzresult.php?CiID=3493 I think that should be 7pm E on Sunday here...oh wait that's right after the normal show...lol
Lessee, last I checked it started at 3pm Alex's time, which is 7pm here, which would make it 7am in Australia, I think. Chernobyl happened at 1:23AM UTC+3, which according to Wikipedia is Moscow time, but it happened during the Daylight savings, which would make it UTC+4. I'll just go with UTC+3 though. I'm at UTC-3 right now, which would make it 7:23pm on the 25th, which would make it 7:23am on the 26th where you are. At UTC+4 that would have being 6:23 instead.
So, the regular show will probably just be extended in recognition of the anniversary. If you can, show up around 6am or soon after, since that's when the preshow is anyways, and the show proper will start at 7am.
